Development Director/Social Media/Marketing

The Development Director is the primary staff member responsible for fundraising for Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear (a nonprofit organization), including grant management, fundraising events, donor development, web and social media activities, marketing, and development mailings.   Special emphasis will be on expanding new individual donors and developing and implementing major donor campaigns.  Additional key responsibilities will be grant connectivity, planning, submissions, follow-through, and communications, working closely with linkages to key Grant partnerships.  Additional responsibilities will include annual fund campaigns, donor database management, public relations, and marketing management, as well as outreach presentations, in cooperation with the Executive Director. Working in the evenings and weekends will be may be required as needed. This is a full-time position

Galas, breakfasts, bed races, pint nights and more: Family Promise hosts several events each year to engage support, raise funds and spread the word about our mission to end family homelessness. These events are invaluable opportunities to create relationships with people and companies who are interested in helping us make a difference in the lives of homeless parents and their children.
