Nationally, over the past 20+ years, Family Promise affiliates have provided shelter, meals, case management, homelessness prevention and stabilization services to nearly 1 million family members.

Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear had 98% of the families in our shelter program secure housing because of our intensive case management and community support last year.

Collectively across all the Family Promise Affiliates, we mobilize more than 200,000 dedicated volunteers who make a tremendous difference in families’ lives—and in their communities.

Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear has an active group of more than 350 volunteers that keep our programs running. Last year, they logged 6,900 hours of volunteer service.

INSPIRING INITIATIVES
Our volunteers don’t stop at shelter, meals, and support services. Nationwide, Family Promise has created more than 1,700 programs for housing, homelessness prevention, health care, life skills, and mentoring, among others.
